Collage

I think of collage as drawing and printmaking techniques combined. Variations seem endless. Whether political, illustrative or abstract in nature, collage demands certain forms of decision-making, based on recognition and intuition, involving spontaneity and experimentation. Results range from serious to entertaining, and everything in between. I use materials at hand, often found at flea markets and antique bookstores. Anything can be suitable, even objects.
